This school is run by a French and a Costa Rican woman and is located in the small village of Montezuma, near Santa Teresa on the Cabuya peninsula, in the Puntarenas region. This surfcamp transmits the passion of surfing and the values of the sport: respect, concentration and self-control. By combining the search for pleasure and surpassing oneself, we ensure you an optimal progress while having fun.
Our surf instructor is a member of the International Surfing Association (ISA) and is a certified lifeguard. With him you learn safely and with a smile! He has been surfing for 10 years and has been an instructor for over 5 years with tourists from all over the world. Whether you speak English, Spanish or French, with us language is not a barrier.
Whether you are a single person, a couple, a family or a group, Ocean Adventure will meet your needs perfectly. Each of these camps offers surfing lessons, yoga classes, scuba diving so you can combine different activities during your stay. We also offer tree climbing, fishing and hiking in these camps. Santa Teresa is a small town in the province of Puntarenas in Costa Rica. It is located about 150 kilometres west of the capital, San José. A surfers' paradise between tropical sunshine, Pacific Ocean and perfect waves formed in warm turquoise water.
Surf Spot Montezuma
We accompany you on a famous surf spot.
One of the most beautiful beaches in the world. It is reached after a 30-minute walk in the middle of the Playa Grande nature reserve to observe iguanas, monkeys, birds and the natural artistic structures of the beach.

LESSON 1 : STAND UP & MAINTAIN BALANCE
Discover the adventure of surfing! Coaching and quality techniques for beginners. The objective is to learn quickly thanks to your private surf instructor. Learn even faster by correcting yourself with videos of yourself.
LESSON 2 : SWIMMING
Validation of reflexes and position on the board. Your surf instructor stays focused on you to correct you. Fast progress on the program!
LESSON 3 : CATCH THE WAVE!
Beaucoup de temps dans l'eau afin de perfectionner vos nouvelles compétences. Le moniteur de surf vient avec vous dans l'eau pour vous donner de l'impulsion quand vous attrapez la vague. Il vous entraînera à mieux pagayer et vous apprendra à faire demi-tour et à attraper la vague.
LESSON 4 : TURN RIGHT AND LEFT WHILE SURFING
Theoretical and practical learning: How to know if the wave is good? How to swim with maximum impulse? How to identify currents? Ask for as many things as you want thanks to your personal time!
LESSON 5 : TRY TO SURF THE GREEN WAVE
Surf the green wave! Speed, power: Let's go for new sensations! The surf instructor will come surf with you to show you the example and correct you in the ocean.
LESSON 6 : TRAINING IN THE GREEN WAVES
Reminds you of safety and final theoretical advice. The surf instructor follows you in the water and tries to let you surf with as few recommendations as possible in order to teach you to be more confident in the water. At the end of the session, you will be able to choose the right waves, you will know all the safety points and will be confident to surf alone!
