Car hire.
Hiring a car in Spain can be inexpensive and is the most convenient way to get around, as all the activities take place outside Tarifa. You can hire a car from any airport. As most hire cars are very cheap, they earn their money elsewhere. 2 things to look out for when booking and factor into your final price: Fuel and Insurance.Buses.
Most of the time, you will have to change buses in Algeciras. There is a direct bus from Malaga airport to Algeciras (until 6.30pm). From Algeciras, there are buses every 30 minutes to Tarifa until 9pm. From Gibraltar, there is a bus from La Linea bus station (5 minutes' walk from the airport) to Algeciras. From Seville airport, take a shuttle bus to the central bus station.BlaBlaCar.
BlaBlaCar is one of the cheapest options and a fast, user-friendly way to get around Spain easily. It's a service that many people use to get to Tarifa from the airports or vice versa. You'll be told via Whatsapp where to meet us for kite lessons when you arrive in Tarifa and we'll plan a transfer together if you need one. In July-August, a bus leaves every hour from Tarifa to the beaches (10-15 minutes walk) at 2€/trip.
