The private class takes place directly on the balcony of your flat. You can go to Punta Banco and enjoy the practice in the middle of nature with a spectacular view of the ocean.

Surf Camp in Pavones, Costa Rica
Our surf camp is located in front of the beach, only a few minutes walk from the town centre and its restaurants. Some good places to eat nearby are La Brushetta, Cafe de la Suerte and Tico Mex. Pavones is located in the Golfo Dulce, near the border with Panama. It is one of the most famous surf spots in Costa Rica. There are 900 meters long lefts in season.
The surf camp will accompany you throughout your holiday to help you discover this island and surf in its turquoise waters !
How do I get from the airport to the Surfcamp ?
Pavones is a beachfront community on the southern Pacific coast, home to some of the best surfing in the Americas. The area is located in the heart of Central America, easily accessible from two international airports : San José's Juan Santamaría International Airport (SJO) and Liberia's Daniel Oduber Quirós International Airport (LIR).
Local carriers Sansa Airlines and Nature Air offer daily flights to Puerto Jiménez and Golfito airports.
Punta Banco Turtle Conservation Project
The turtle conservation project in Punta Banco, is a voluntary project in which the neighbours of the community have taken the initiative to protect these species that arrive on the beaches of Punta Banco, the work done by these people with a lot of love, however, they depend on the collaboration that people make by donating money to the cause. With this economic help, they manage to cover the costs for the collection of the nests, the payment to the person in charge of the liberations and exhumations. Year after year they have worked in a very organised and active way.
So, if you are a lover of nature and animal protection, this activity is perfect for you. Enjoy getting to know turtle species such as hawksbill, green and olive ridley turtles.
The full experience of observing the nesting process, collecting eggs and being able to place them safely in the hatchery.
