Our surf school is located on Obidos beach. You don't have to carry heavy equipment - you're right on the beach!
The Lagoa d'Obidos offers beginners and experts alike a perfect stretch of water, with constant thermal winds and calm waters sheltered from the swell. On the other side of the estuary, behind this magnificent sand dune, lies a treasure trove. Perfect waves for strapless surfers!
This sunny part of the Portuguese coastline is also inundated during the summer months by northerly winds and a thermal wind, which are sure to provide you with consistently excellent conditions for kitesurfing.

Remember to book in advance, because in summer and during school holidays, slots are taken over 7 days and there's no room for last-minute bookings.
What should I bring for my kitesurfing lesson?
We provide the equipment and the instructor. Just bring a swimming costume to wear under your wetsuit, a towel, a change of clothes, sun cream and a bottle of water.
Kitesurfing lessons
Our kitesurfing course lasts around 4 hours a day (car journey to the beach, warm-up and lots of time in the water). We meet at our kitesurf school in the morning or early afternoon (depending on tides and weather conditions) - then our instructor takes the group to the beach suited to their level.
We offer courses for beginners as well as for those looking to improve their skills. Several types of course are available:
Group lessons:
4 students, 1 instructor, 2 sails.
Semi-private lessons:
2 students, 1 instructor, 2 sails.
Private lessons:
1 student, 1 instructor, 1 sail.
You can choose the length of your lessons:
