The Best Surf Camps in the Canary Islands
The Canary archipelago is Europe's leading destination for learning to surf all year round, in a sub-tropical climate (no passport required). Conditions are good all year round for beginners and advanced surfers, and the air and water temperatures are ideal even in winter! There are only two seasons: spring and autumn. The Canary Islands are often compared to Hawaii, with their turquoise waters and breathtaking scenery.
All the islands are good for advanced surfers, and we've selected the two best Canary Islands for apprentice surfers: Fuerteventura and Lanzarote.
Fuerteventura is the best option for beginners, as as well as having a wide variety/quantity of surfing and kitesurfing spots, this part of the island offers the benefits of a sporting destination combined with the charm of a real small town! Corralejo has a superb atmosphere, blending European influences with the Latin and sub-tropical culture of the Canary Islands. Vamos Muchachos!
