Surf school in Capbreton
Capbreton's surf spots are beachbreaks (the wave breaks on the sand, not on the rocks) which change with the seasons and the years.
A surfing spot protected from strong swells, for years it has enabled many young people from Capbreton to learn to surf in ideal conditions with small waves.
Prevent
This beach has also been extensively modified following work to raise the groynes. The sandbank offers some nice peaks when the swell is generous. The spot is sheltered from large swells and offers a fallback solution when the other beaches are saturated.
Savane Beach (Santocha)
The beach with the greatest surfing potential.
It still filters large swells but catches smaller ones. The last rocky spur to the north of the beach provides a sandbank, which in good years offers an excellent right of way.

Ideally situated on the Prévent and Sanchon beach, you'll enjoy a high-quality surf lesson and spend 1 hours 30 minutes in the water!
Remember to book in advance, because in summer and during school holidays, slots are taken over 7 days and there is no room for last-minute bookings.
What should I bring for my surf lesson?
We provide the board, wetsuit, instructor and transport if the ocean is stormy and you have to leave the site to go to a fallback spot. Just bring a swimming costume to wear under your wetsuit, a towel, a change of clothes and a bottle of water.
What time are lessons?
We organise lessons about 2 hours before and after low tide.
with normal coefficients of 50/70. It can be more with lower coefficients, but in any case,
we organise the groups ourselves according to age and level
to give you the greatest possible satisfaction.
We'll call you back 48 hours before D-day to give you your lesson time based on the tides and "reliable swell and weather forecasts".
