With traditional markets, open-air concerts, coastal lifesaving competitions and iconic festivals such as Latinossegor and the Quiksilver Festival, every day promises a unique experience between the lake and the ocean.

Entertainment
- Open-air cinema: Free screenings at Rosny Park at 9.30 pm on Tuesdays 15 and 22 July, and 5 and 12 August.
- Live music at the Bandstand: Live concerts every Wednesday morning from 11 am during the market, and on Sundays at 11 am or 7.30 pm.
- Children’s shows: Events for young children or the whole family every Thursday at 8.30 pm at the bandstand in the town centre.
- Concerts by the sea: Live music every Friday at 9.30 pm on Place des Landais for a festive atmosphere.
- Ping Tuesday: Table tennis tournaments open to all from 6pm to 8pm at the Table Tennis Club in the Pédebert area.
- Pétanque: Doubles competitions organised at the Parc des Sports at 2.30pm on Wednesdays and Fridays.

- Guided walk around the lake: Discover the flora, fauna and historical heritage of Hossegor Lake every Monday from 10am to 12pm (€15).
- Cesta Punta: Spectacular Basque pelota matches on Mondays and Wednesdays at 9 pm at the Jaï Alaï in Hossegor, prices between €10 and €20.
- Aquatic walking: Supervised session at the lake with Ocean Incentive every Tuesday at 10 am for 45 minutes (€17).
- Birdwatching: Song identification walks with Nature Landes Pays Basque at Les Barthes in Hossegor, Tuesdays from 5pm to 7pm (€15).
- Guided History and Heritage Tour: Historical tour led by a guide from the Tourist Office on Thursdays from 10am to 12pm (€10).
- Oyster farming: Educational tour of the lake bed including a tasting, Fridays from 10am to 12pm (€15).
- Vira and Vasa: Free audio treasure hunt and audio tour available all year round, covering themes such as the canal, the seafront and the history of Soorts.

- Traditional market: Place des Halles on Sundays (April to November), Wednesdays (June to September) and Fridays (mid-June to mid-September) from 9am to 1.30pm.
- Evening market: Every Sunday from 13 July to 31 August, from 7 pm to 11.30 pm at Place de la Concorde (Kiosk).
- Halles Gourmandes: Social evenings every Friday from 6 pm to 10.30 pm at the Hossegor market during the summer season.
- Farmers’ market: Direct sales every Saturday morning from 8 am to 1 pm at Place du Trinquet in Soorts.
- Rosny Park flea markets: Large-scale sale every Tuesday from 8 am to 5 pm, from 24 June to 16 September.

- Ocean beaches: Lifeguards on duty from 11am to 7pm at the South, Central, Naturist and Gravière beaches from 5 July to 31 August.
- Lake beaches (Chênes-Lièges): Supervised swimming from 11am to 7pm from 5 July to 31 August.
- Lake beaches (Parc, Rey, Blanche): Lifeguards on duty from 12.30 pm to 6.30 pm during the main summer season.

A passionate free surfer, Nicolas Mercadieu discovered bodyboarding at a young age. Sponsored by the age of 20, he had the opportunity to live in the Canary Islands, a hotspot for powerful waves, where he honed his style and commitment to challenging conditions. At 35, he achieved a lifelong dream by competing in the prestigious Fronton King, one of the world's premier bodyboarding events. Today, Nicolas divides his time between the surf spots of Anglet and the southern Landes, always chasing new waves and moments of escape on the water.
