2nd year work placement: Documenting a “Teen Surf Camp: Learning about the ocean and the waves”.
Surfing weather: How can you tell when there will be waves?
Learning to surf, guided by the educational objectives established by the French Surfing Federation, goes far beyond the simple acquisition of technical skills. These objectives emphasise the crucial importance of understanding the ocean environment in which surfing takes place, placing knowledge of the ocean at the heart of the learning experience. This holistic approach aims to develop well-rounded, aware and respectful surfers who are able not only to ride the waves skillfully but also to understand and respond appropriately to the complex dynamics of the ocean.
