Possibility of training small groups for 1 instructor, and supervision takes place in the water for more personalised advice. You are insured by the French Surfing Federation. For optimum safety, the school favours low tide for its lessons.

A professional bodyboarder, Maxime has set up a Surf Guide package designed to give you a unique, thrilling experience at the region's best surf spots, away from the world.
After winning the European Pro Champion title in 2018, currently ranked 11th in the world in 2019 and also Junior World Champion a few years ago, he has now been in the Top 16 of the APB professional circuit, which brings together the world's best, for 4 years, while of course continuing to take part in the various events in France.
Surfing courses in Nazaré
Near Nazaré, between the beach of Praia Grande and the bay of Baleal (Peniche), or towards Cascais if the swell is huge, you'll go to the best sandbanks! Maxime will take you to a desert spot adapted to your level.
Remember to book in advance, because in summer and during school holidays, slots are taken over 7 days and there is no room for last-minute bookings.
What should I bring for my surf lesson?
We provide the board, wetsuit, instructor and transport if the ocean is stormy and you have to leave the site to go to a fallback spot. Just bring a swimming costume to wear under your wetsuit, a towel, a change of clothes and a bottle of water.
What time are lessons?
We organise lessons about 2 hours before and after low tide.
We will therefore call you back 48h before the day of the course to give you your lesson time according to the tides and also the "reliable swell and weather forecasts".
