Surf & Yoga Retreats is one of Nicaragua's leading eco-friendly resorts, with a strong focus on community and environmental awareness in the surrounding communities.
Surf & Yoga Retreats has grown up in a very natural and natural way. Each of our bungalows and chalets has been designed with the surrounding trees and plants in mind, and in some cases trees grow right through the building. All have been built to take advantage of the local Papagayo winds to keep you cool without using too much electricity. Grey water from the eco-lodge is treated and used to water our garden and grow food for our guests.
There are no televisions or air-conditioning, but there are stunning views, balconies with hammocks, large beds and showers with hot water.
Private Cabin with Jungle View
Nestled in the bosque (forest), it is a little more secluded than the other bungalows. This cabin is ideal for people who want to get away from the action for a while, or for nature lovers who want to get up close and personal with the local wildlife. Although there are no ocean views inside, there is a lovely balcony to relax on with views over the valley and glimpses of the beach.
Cabin with ocean view
This room has a large balcony with stunning views of the beach and ocean. The balcony has a sofa and hammock and is very private. The bathroom has a solar hot water shower and a view of the beach. It is located at the top of the hill, a short distance from all amenities and enjoys a tranquil atmosphere.
The Big Bungalow
The spacious Big Bungalow is an octagonal hut carefully crafted from local hardwood. It offers stunning views of the beach and a cool room temperature thanks to a high ceiling and excellent ventilation. The sofa bed can be used as a single bed for extra people, and another single bed slides under the double bed. This room is ideal for couples, families with children or small groups. It is a short walk from amenities and the beach, but in a quiet area. The balcony is furnished with two sun loungers and a hammock, and there is a small dining/working table inside. Solar shower with hot water and, as in all the rooms, solar power.
Villa Cortez
This is the largest and most luxurious cabin at the retreat. Villa Cortez features a bedroom with king-size bed and sofa bed, as well as a full kitchen, sunken living room and spacious oceanfront patio. It's the perfect space for entertaining a group or simply enjoying the oceanfront jungle in style.

Surf & Yoga Retreats offers the perfect opportunity to learn to surf. This is your chance! Nicaragua is a great place to learn, but many people try to learn at the busiest and most popular surf spots. Playa Escameca is far enough away from San Juan del Sur not to attract the same crowds as the beaches closer to the city. And the waves are perfect for beginners. The more waves you can catch, the quicker you'll learn to surf. And when you stay this close to the waves, you'll be in the water every chance you get.

Costa Dulce's signature immersive surfing programme is a great way to perfect your skills or finally learn to surf.
Enjoy your days without crowds, with intimate instruction and offshore wind all day. Come and make the most of your surfing holiday and really learn to surf.
Your surfing experience starts with tips and tricks for an unforgettable surfing experience in our educational Surf Clinic, where our guides reveal the secrets of perfect surfing, waves, pop-ups and swell. Prepare well on land, so you can make the most of your experience on the water. During your week, you'll spend a lot of time in the water and will be able to put into practice everything you learn with your surf instructors. To round off the week, surf photos will be taken and you'll go home happy with a new skill and some action shots!

Our school is an intentional space that awakens your senses and your soul to a greater awareness of your dormant potential. It's a deep dive into and through yourself, supported by a nurturing foundation of peace and presence.
For us, yoga is first and foremost a journey, a sacred discovery filled with curiosity. It reminds us that we are always where and how we are meant to be.
