Book your Corralejo, Fuerteventura kitesurfing lessons at least 48 hours before the big day. Lesson 1

Kite Control & Safety: On the first day, you’ll learn how to control the kite on the beach, how to use the safety systems and the basics of weather and safety. “You’ll be ready for the boat session.”

*If you’ve already done a kiteboarding lesson and would like a one-hour refresher course on the beach instead of a 2-hour lesson, take the one-hour refresh option and we’ll move on to “lesson 2” on the first day if conditions allow.

Lesson 2

Boat or Lagoon Session: Boat sessions start with body dragging, techniques for launching the kite into the water, followed by water starts and progression to your first runs. The boat follows you, always in visual contact, with the instructor supervising your progress. The boat sessions allow you to progress quickly and safely.

Lesson 3

Repeat basic practices: kite launches, in-water starts and upwind descents, allowing you to optimise your control of the kite and board, and possibly your first upwind runs.

A chance to refine and improve the techniques learned in previous sessions under the supervision of experts.

Lesson 4

Let’s go for our first beach start session. Day one you’ve learnt how to control the kite on the beach, day two and three you’ve progressed to your first open water rides. If the conditions are right, we have the option of replacing the boat session with a beach start session.

This is the time to learn how to prepare and organise your own beach properly. Start from the beach and return safely, optimising your progress quickly and intelligently.

Lesson 5

Beyond…. Together with the instructor and other students, you will decide what the session will be. With precise and tailored objectives, “These sessions will take you to the next level in your kite surfing journey.

Meeting time

The surf school will send you a Whatsapp message the day before the lesson, between 5 and 8pm, to give you a precise timetable to suit the conditions. Generally, it’s 9am in the morning, but this can vary!

Payment and meeting point

You can pay by credit card. Once you have paid the 20% deposit, your booking is guaranteed (you don’t have to confirm anything). Following your online order, you will receive a confirmation e-mail with the school’s contact details. Please note that the balance of 80% must be paid to the school on the first day of your course.
