Bar and Restaurant
Bar: The bar offers a wide selection of alcoholic and non-alcoholic drinks to suit all tastes.
Guests can enjoy their morning meal in the bar. To visit Bajo El Arbol Tapas Bar and The Bakery, guests need to walk approximately 250 metres.
The nearest supermarket is just around the corner, as are numerous bars, restaurants and soft drinks (local restaurants - don't forget to try the 'casado', a delicious local favourite!).
Surf Camp Auberge provides a fully equipped communal kitchen for travellers.

Localization
Costa Rica - Santa Teresa
We are located in Playa Carmen Santa Teresa. Only 100 metres from the beach and the best surf spot in town. 50 metres from the markets, 300 metres from the Playa Carmen gallery where you will find banks, bars, restaurants, a pharmacy, launderette and everything you need.
Santa Teresa is surrounded by roads, majestic jungle, waterfalls, beaches and national parks such as Cabo Blanco and Playa Suecos.
Access
San Jose airport
You have three different options for getting here from San Jose.
- You can book a domestic flight to Tambor airport and we'll organise a taxi to pick you up and take you to Santa Teresa. This is by far the quickest way. The flight takes around 20 minutes and the taxi from Tambor 40 minutes. A bus or shuttle would take most of the day. You can book your flights here with Fly Sansa.
The flight costs between 90 and 150 dollars to Tambor from San José, then 55 dollars for the taxi to Santa Teresa. - There is also a direct bus from San Jose to Santa Teresa which leaves daily from "Terminal 7-10" at 6pm and 2pm. You will need to take a ferry, which is included in the price of the bus. You don't need to change buses when you get on or off the ferry. You may need to change buses in Cóbano, a town about 40 minutes from Santa Teresa. If you're not sure about bus transfers, you can always ask the driver.
The bus costs around $25. - There is also a daily shuttle bus from San José to Santa Teresa. If you're staying overnight in San José, you can contact Tropical Tour Shuttles for a shuttle.
The shuttle costs between $65 and $100 depending on the season.
