Surf School Corralejo, Fuerteventura
Often referred to as Europe's answer to Hawaii, the Canary Islands certainly have the best and most consistent surf spots in Europe all year round. Its northern tip is ideally exposed, to the west, north and east, making it a paradise for learning to surf, as there's always a spot exposed to small swells, or, conversely, a fallback spot, when the swell is strong.
Many claim that Fuerteventura is the crown jewel of the Canary Islands. It is the second largest island in the Canaries, after Tenerife. It's still fairly unspoilt and tranquil, although its popularity increases every year. During the winter months, the beautiful Canarian island of Fuerteventura lights up with swell from the Atlantic, creating excellent waves for everyone from beginners to expert surfers. To help you decide where to spend your next vacation at our Fuerteventura surf camp on the sunny island, here are our favorite surf spots around the island.

Ideally located, you'll enjoy a high-quality surf lesson and spend 2 hours in the water!
Remember to book in advance, because in summer and during school vacations, slots are taken over 7 days, and there's no room for last-minute bookings.
What should I bring for my surf lesson?
We provide the board, wetsuit, instructor and transport if the ocean is stormy and you have to leave the premises to go to a fallback spot. Just bring a swimsuit to wear under your wetsuit, a towel, a change of clothes, sunscreen and a bottle of water.
What time are lessons?
We organize courses about 2 hours before and after low tide
on normal tides of 50/70. It can be more with lower coefficients, but in any case,
we organize the groups ourselves according to age and level
to give you the greatest possible satisfaction.
We'll call you back 48 hours (approx.) before D-day to give you your lesson time, depending on the tides and "reliable swell and weather forecasts".
Surfing lessons
Our surf course lasts about 4 hours a day (car ride to the beach, warm-up and lots of time in the water). We meet at our surf school in the morning or early afternoon (depending on tides and weather conditions) - then our instructor takes the group to the beaches best suited to their level. We keep groups as small as possible (max. 6 to 8 students per instructor), so that everyone gets maximum attention and progress in minimum time.
Beginner level
For beginners, the instructor takes you to easy beaches where you'll first get into the white water and practice getting up and riding broken waves. Maybe soon you'll be paddling and catching unbroken waves! We use equipment specially designed for beginner surfers, to help them progress quickly and safely.
Intermediate level
The intermediate course is for surfers who already know how to paddle and catch a wave. We'll take you on more challenging waves and reef breakers on the North Shore with gentle green waves. You'll learn your first turns and basic maneuvers on green waves.
Our instructors all have a wealth of experience and a passion for the sport, and they'll make sure you have a great time while making maximum progress!
Booking SUP beginner courses
We also offer StandUp Paddle lessons. It's a sport accessible to all, but it's important to know the technique to be able to progress. From the 2nd or 3rd lesson onwards, you'll be able to practice in the waves, depending on your progress and your desires.
The island of Fuerteventura is the perfect place to learn how to SUP, with its magnificent scenery and warm, transparent lagoon waters.
