As a " Family Plus Resort ", the resort is committed to welcoming families in the best possible conditions. With 20 km of cycle paths, cycling is a real pleasure for adults and children alike.
In the forest around the Plaine de Jeux du Fond du Mourat, a 1.7 km fitness trail has been laid out, with 18 apparatus.
It is suitable for all ages, with increasing levels of difficulty, while respecting the site's environment.
As part of the coastal environment contract signed in March 2003, a hiking trail was created here at La Tranche-sur-Mer.
Rando-Dune has set up information panels explaining the coastal environment and the protection of the dunes at La Tranche-sur-Mer.
Enjoying the beauty of the ocean from the beach is one thing... but sailing and letting yourself be carried along by the wind: what a luxury! The proximity of the islands of Ré, Aix and Oléron is an invitation to yachting. Sailing around Fort Boyard and discovering the Atlantic coast from the open sea will leave you with some wonderful holiday memories.

The Grande Plage de la Terrière is a favourite with surfers, as it has the best exposure to the west. It offers some very nice waves. Let yourself be tempted by the pleasures of board sports!

La Tranche has a succession of renowned surf, kitesurf and windsurfing spots. In fact, La Tranche has been awarded the " Station Planche à Voile" label. You can go sailing every day, whether you're a beginner (on the water), an amateur (in one of the schools) or an experienced sailor. The immensity of the fine sandy beaches is a fantastic playground for wind and sailing sports. La Tranche sur Mer is sure to inspire new emotions.
