Breakdown of the 4 hours of kiteboarding per day
Apart from the 1st lesson on the beach or the refresher for intermediates, a kiteboarding lesson lasts around 4 hours, as it includes a 2-hour lesson during which you share the sail with your partner. The more you progress, the more chance you have of having a sail all to yourself, but it's your teacher who decides! The other 2 hours are divided between theory, preparation and transport, which can sometimes take 30 minutes by boat to find the ideal wind window: on the north side of the island, towards the south or even off the island of Lobos, although generally you'll have a north-easterly wind along the Lobos/Flag Beach axis.
