Originally known as "Arugam Kudah", the town itself is a historic settlement in the former territory of Batticaloa. A small fishing town in the east of Sri Lanka, Arugam Bay very quickly became the main surfing spot in the east and now thrives with many surfing tourists.
Surf and yoga retreat is located in Arugam Bay, a quiet corner of the bustling Arugam Bay beach. Surrounded by palm trees and fine sand, it forms a beautiful crescent beach, making it the perfect getaway for everyone.

From the tropical paradise we like to call home, Surf and yoga retreat invites you to let loose and disconnect from your daily routine. Here you'll find lush palm trees, fresh coconuts and dreamy waves just a stone's throw from your room.
We also offer yoga classes amongst the neem leaves on our rooftop. We offer an enriching experience throughout your stay, where you can discover and grow both inside and out.

We are located in the town of Arugam Bay, on the east coast of Sri Lanka.
Palm trees, wild elephants and fine sand form a beautiful crescent beach, it really is the perfect getaway for everyone. Some of the main surf spots in the east are just a short walk from the camp, a real treat for ocean lovers young and old!
