The rooms - Surf camp Arugam bay

The surf and yoga retreat in Arugambay has a total of 10 rooms. The rooms are comfortable and all have a private balcony or terrace, making them the perfect place to relax after your surfing lessons.

Our rooms are simply decorated to make you feel at home in Sri Lanka. All rooms are equipped with mosquito nets, ceiling fans and hairdryers. Air conditioning is available in some rooms.

Surf

We aim to keep things a little different. From our beautiful surroundings at the guest house, nearby surf spots, our certified surf coaches/guides, to the equipment we use, we aim to have the highest regional standard. That's why we've designed everything about our surf coaching courses to ensure you get the most out of your surfing during your stay with us.

Surf School

Our passionate and motivated instructors are waiting to help you organise your time on the slopes.

The equipment is in good condition.

Our Adventures

Additional activities can be added to your package at the time of booking:

Visit Kumana National Park to see Sri Lanka's amazing wildlife, including majestic leopards and elephants.
Take a 2-hour lagoon safari
Visit Yala or Udawalawa National Park to see Sri Lanka's amazing wildlife, including leopards and majestic elephants.

Yoga

Yoga at Surf and yoga retreat will take place on the lawn in the shade of the palm trees, or we'll have sunset yoga on the roof. Full moon yoga, evening classes, SUP yoga and private sessions are available on request.

All yoga props including mats, blocks and belts are provided for you to take your class.

Video analysis

As well as spending plenty of time in the water, all our guests will also receive theory lessons. Depending on the package you book, you also have the option of obtaining your surfing videos free of charge or for an additional fee from our photographer.
