Kite Camp in Cabarete, Dominican Republic - The rooms

The kite camp, a 4-star hotel nestling in Cabarete, is the perfect place to indulge in the peaceful rhythm of Caribbean life. Nestling on the seafront, it is just opposite the spot and the place where we set up our kite centre in Cabarete. From the first light of day, your eyes will be caressed by the infinite expanse of a blue ocean, allowing you to assess at any moment the ideal conditions for taking to the sea.

Standard room

This spacious and comfortable room has an en suite bathroom. With a Queen-size bed or two twin beds.

Superior room

This air-conditioned room features a balcony, 2 queen-size beds, free Wi-Fi, cable TV and a safe. The bathroom has a shower.

Superior sea view room

With a terrace overlooking the sea, this large double room has air conditioning, tea and coffee making facilities and a private bathroom with shower. This accommodation has 1 bed.

Kite Surf

In Cabarete, the kitesurfing spot is right opposite the ION CLUB centre, one of the most famous and best-known in the world for kitesurfing, where many professional kitesurfers come to train. During the windy high season, between May and August, the wind is very often present, which means that kitesurfing lessons can be given almost every day. Whether you're a complete beginner, an intermediate or an expert looking to learn a new kiteboarding trick, the Cabarete spot is the ideal playground. All our kitesurfing lessons are given by certified instructors and in several languages.

Kite School

Our instructors are IKO graduates. Passionate and motivated, they will be waiting for you at the school to help you organise your time on the slopes.

All our equipment is current and in good condition.

Kite Location

Our ION CLUB kitesurfing centre in Cabarete is equipped with the latest range of DUOTONE kitesurfing equipment with plenty of choice. If you've booked a kitesurf rental with us, you can change equipment as often as you like throughout the day and every day. This is made even easier by the fact that our kitesurfing centre is located directly on Cabarete's main kitesurfing beach, in front of the spot. Don't hesitate to try out all our boards and kites. Our instructors will be delighted to help you find the perfect combination of equipment for the day!

Wing Foil

We're proud to offer you the very latest gliding activity: wingfoil! In fact, we offer several packages for wingfoil lessons. And it's possible to learn whether you're a complete beginner in board sports, or even a seasoned windsurfer, kitesurfer or surfer wanting to learn this amazing new sport. The beginners' course is very similar to the windsurfing beginners' course. The wingfoil trainees start on a large windsurf board and have in their hands a kite rather than a boom and sail.

Wing Foil School

The learning objectives for beginners are the same as for windsurf trainees, and after just a few hours you'll be able to sail on your own. For the more experienced, we offer courses with more difficult objectives. Only private lessons are offered at ION CLUB Cabarete. We teach you to fly safely, to jibe and why not to jump with your Wingfoil equipment.
