There are dozens of surf camps on the French Atlantic coast, but this one in Anglet, near Biarritz, was chosen because it meets our quality charter: teaching methods, adapted equipment, friendliness... The concept is simple:environmentally-friendly equipment and facilities with the energy to help you make real progress in surfing, so that you come away from your stay with a wealth of new experiences. And it's all affordable.

Meals & Snacks

Breakfast is taken together at the campsite, with everything you need to stay in shape! Everyone gathers around the tables to get the day's adventures off to a good start! When the weather's fine, we try to enjoy our lunch on the beach, to take in the view and the relaxed atmosphere.

Dinners are taken at the campsite or at a restaurant. We know the best places in Anglet, and our youngsters always have a great time at mealtimes!

The cooking when we eat at the campsite is done by our talented cook. She concocts well-balanced meals, with a starter to whet the appetite, a hearty main course to satisfy our hungry youngsters, and a dessert for a sweet treat at the end of the meal.

Camp infrastructure

We welcome you to the 4-star Bella Basque campsite in Anglet-Biarritz from April onwards, with its mini-stadium, waterslide and heated indoor pool, very useful in bad weather or for stretching out at the end of the day.

Why choose a Surf Ocean Adventure camp?

Surfing holiday camps offer a unique and enriching experience that goes far beyond learning a sport. At the heart of this adventure are three main objectives: getting to know the ocean, mastering basic surfing techniques, and promoting a way of living together based on meeting new people and enjoying each other's company. These camps, particularly those in Bilbao and Lisbon - Caparica, add an international dimension to the experience, providing a deep and varied cultural immersion.

Knowledge of the ocean

Participants are introduced to the wonders of the ocean, learning not only to respect but also to understand this vital ecosystem. This holistic approach encompasses marine life, currents, tides and the environmental impact of human activities on the oceans. This in-depth knowledge forges an emotional and respectful bond with nature, encouraging a responsible and sustainable attitude.

Mastery of basic surfing techniques

Beyond the fun and excitement of surfing, this sport demands discipline, perseverance and respect for the natural elements. Participants are guided by experienced instructors who teach them the essential techniques for riding the waves, while emphasising safety and respect for the marine environment. This technical introduction not only develops sporting skills, but also builds self-confidence and independence.

Our aim is to enable them to surf independently (in easy conditions!) by the end of the course.

Living together

Surfing holiday camps are melting pots of diversity, bringing together participants from different countries and cultures. This mix encourages intercultural exchange, enriching young people personally and socially. Group activities, social events and daily exchanges strengthen bonds and teach tolerance, mutual respect and cooperation. The international dimension of the Bilbao and Lisbon - Caparica camps amplifies this experience, transforming each session into a small global community where friendship knows no borders.

Even though we don't speak English very well, we had a lot of fun with Russians, Chinese, Brazilians, Portuguese, Germans and Italians! Liam Summer 2023

In short, surfing holiday camps offer much more than just learning to surf. They are an invitation to a human and ecological adventure, where discovering the ocean, learning an exhilarating sport and living together in an international atmosphere combine to create unforgettable memories and forge individuals who are aware, open-minded and respectful of nature and cultural diversity.
