Surf Camp Cascais is a surf school, surf camp and surf shop located in Cascais, the surf city of Lisbon, Portugal.
In our surf school, you can take surf lessons in complete safety at Carcavelos, Guincho or on the beach at Praia Grande. Always booked according to the best conditions. Whether you're a beginner, intermediate or experienced surfer, we have services for all levels and ages.
Discover our Surf Villa in the peaceful village of Murches, a stone's throw from Guincho beach and the magnificent Sintra National Park. Our Villa offers six spacious bedrooms (four shared and two private), all designed with your comfort in mind. Enjoy a fully equipped kitchen and a spacious living room with two relaxation areas and a bar. Outside, a beautiful garden and large swimming pool await you to relax after a day of surfing.
"It's a new concept that my girlfriends and I wanted to try out, and we were really pleasantly surprised! The villa is lovely, always clean, with a large kitchen, lounge and great pool. The atmosphere is very friendly, mostly young people, the staff are adorable and ready to help and the surf instructors are great! Activities are on offer (dinners, bbq, sunset in the mountains, surf photoshoot and debriefing, etc.) and there's a nice little bar where you can go partying in Cascais afterwards. We chose the 1 week package with one surf session a day in the morning and 2 yoga classes. The classes were of a very high quality and thanks to the advice of the instructors, we were able to improve our level very quickly! (If you're a beginner like us, I'd advise you to take one surfing session and not two, as it's great but very tiring, and then the rest of the day you can spend on the beach or visiting Cascais and the surrounding area)."
Bar and Restaurant
Our incredible chef prepares homemade meals three times a week just for you. We carefully select fresh ingredients to give you a healthy and delicious meal after a day of surfing :) Dinners are :
- Tuesday: International cuisine (Mexican, Greek, Indian, Asian, Portuguese, Italian, etc.)
- Thursday: Barbecue
- Sunday: Vegetarian
*All dinners can be vegetarian or vegan. Please let us know if you have any food allergies.
There isa bakery and supermarket just below the building and several restaurants in the area. Our number one recommended restaurant for Portuguese cuisine (Páteo do Petisco) is also just around the corner from the building.

Our Surf Camp Cascais, Lisbon Portugal is located in the relaxed village of Murches, right next to Guincho beach and Sintra National Park.
Access
Lisbon airport
There are 4 main ways to get there from Lisbon airport:
- TRANSFER: We provide transfers to/from Lisbon airport for €40 - 1pax / €45 - 2pax / €50 - 3pax / €55 - 4/6pax. These are the total prices per journey / one way. To book, we need your flight number, arrival time at Lisbon airport and a telephone number to contact you in the event of delays. Please request your transfer at least 48 hours in advance.
- UBER: cheaper option than a taxi if you want a door-to-door service. Ask for an Uber when you come out of baggage claim (this normally takes around 5-7 minutes) and find it outside in the departures car park. It will take you to Cascais in around 20/40min (depending on traffic) and will cost you €30/€45.
- TAXI: Takes around 35/40 minutes and costs around €40 during the day and €45 at night.
- PUBLIC TRANSPORT: Take the metro (red line) from the airport and get off at Alameda station. At Alameda, change from the red line to the green line and get off at the last stop, Cais do Sodré. From Cais do Sodré, take the train to the last stop, which is Cascais. The whole journey will take 1h30. From the station to our Villa, you can get an Uber for a maximum of €4/5.
