Our lodge offers a perfect right and left, right on our doorstep. The island offers 5 world class spots within walking distance and around 20 more within a 25 minute boat ride.
Our accommodation combines western comfort with traditional Mentawai craftsmanship. With a capacity limited to 12 people, we can offer a high level of comfort. You will wake up and go to bed to the sound of the ocean.
Located at the most northerly point of the island chain, it boasts over 20 world-class waves, all within half an hour's boat ride of our resort. World-class waves such as Rifles, Kandui, Ebay and Bank Vaults are just around the corner.
This camp is great, from start to finish. They totally take care of all your needs, from the airport to the hotel to the fairies. Everything. It was a great experience. The food was incredible every night, they make sure they serve different types of food to suit people's needs. The camp manager and photographer were great at taking photos of all the surf sessions. Also taking you to some of those breaks that no one really knows about when it's a bit crowded and everything. This camp is so great because I have a lot of local knowledge about the area, which is really important if you're there for the first time or not. If you're looking for a great place to stay, Beach Resoet is definitely the place you'd want to stay, highly recommended. ??"
Bar and Restaurant
Bar: Our bar offers a variety of beers and iced soft drinks for your enjoyment. Treat yourself to a sunset drink in paradise.
Our chefs will provide you with breakfast, lunch, dinner and snacks. We serve a combination of Western and Indonesian cuisine, using fresh locally grown ingredients where available.
All meals are included in the price and free coffee, tea, daily snacks and drinking water are available at all times.
Don't worry, we'll keep your tummy full so you have enough energy to surf!

We are located on the island of Nyang Nyang , also known as Palau Masokut, in the northern region of Mentawai, sometimes referred to as the ‘playgrounds’, situated right on the tip of Ebay, one of the best lefts in Mentawai.

Access
Minangkabau International Airport
- Padang in Sumatra (Minangkabau International Airport) is your gateway to the Mentawais . Make sure you arrive here at least 1 day before your departure for the Mentawai Islands.
- To get to the Mentawais, you'll need to take an early morning ferry or boat. You will therefore need to stay in Padang for at least 1 night. We can arrange everything for you on request, but if you are responsible for your own travel, make sure you choose a hotel/hostel close to the ferry port.
- Taking the Mentawai Fast from Padang is the cheapest, fastest, most comfortable and safest route. It is therefore also the most popular and recommended choice for travellers.

Surf
The Mentawais are all-rounders when it comes to surf spots. We have waves for everyone! Being comfortable going left and right are the minimum skills required to enjoy your trip! Beware: in high season, the waves are not suitable for beginners.
Yoga
There is usually a yoga teacher on site who offers free yoga classes. Please contact us for details of availability.
Snorkelling
There's plenty of fun to be had beneath the surface. Explore the tropical reefs throughout the islands. We have snorkelling equipment available.
