Access
Gunung Sitoli Airport
- Surf Banyak charters currently depart from Gunung Sitoli in Nias, and the easiest way to get there depends on whether you're coming from abroad or travelling elsewhere in Indonesia. If you're flying directly from abroad, it's easiest to fly into Medan Airport in Kuala Namu (KNO), where we can arrange a Meet and Greet for your domestic travel to and from Gunung Sitoli, so you don't have to do anything. Most customers fly to Medan via Singapore (Silk Air, Valuair/Jetstar), Kuala Lumpur (Malaysian, Air Asia) or Jakarta (Garuda).
- You will need to be in Medan at the start of the rental day, before 08:30 on Monday, if you have booked the transfer package. We recommend that you arrive one day before the start of the rental period. If you are arranging your own transport (flight or car/ferry), you will need to be at Gunung Sitoli airport by 11am on Monday to meet the rest of the guests for transport to Lahewa port to board the Seriti.

The fishing is excellent around the Banyaks, so you could be the one to catch dinner! We have a number of rods, reels, spearguns and tackle on board.
