Garden: At the entrance to the establishment, there is a garden, and on either side, a surfboard shelter, which is part of the surf club.
The restaurant: With two seaside restaurants and a rooftop bar.
Gym and Yoga: The establishment has a functional gym and a space for yoga classes.
Coworking space: We have a TV room, lounge and coworking space available for our guests, ideal for those who travel the world and work anywhere.
Common area: We have a shared kitchen, swimming pool, poolside bar, hammam, and changing rooms for men and women, all equipped with hot and cold water.

The Surf Camp is located on the beautiful Praia do Pontal beach, in the Recreio dos Bandeirantes neighbourhood, west of Rio de Janeiro. This unspoilt beach, surrounded by nature and the hills of Pontal, offers a peaceful setting far from the hustle and bustle of the city centre. It is easily accessible from Barra da Tijuca, while still offering a wild environment, between the ocean, golden sand and tropical vegetation. Facing Pontal Island and the regular waves of the Atlantic, the location is ideal for surfing, relaxing and watching spectacular sunsets over the sea.
Access
Rio de Janeiro/Galeão International Airport
- From Galeão International Airport (GIG), Longboard Paradise Surf Camp in Praia do Pontal, in the Recreio dos Bandeirantes neighbourhood, is approximately 45 km away.
- 🚗 By car, taxi or Uber: this is the easiest and fastest way. The journey takes about 1 hour and 15 minutes, depending on traffic. Just follow the Linha Amarela to Barra da Tijuca, then continue on Avenida das Américas towards Recreio until you reach Praia do Pontal.
- 🚌 By public transport: take the TransCarioca BRT from the airport to Recreio Shopping station, then a local bus or a short taxi ride to the camp.

Our Activities
Surf lessons
Our lessons take place every day! Dive into the waves with sessions lasting between an hour and a half and two hours of pure fun. Our lessons begin on our tatami mat, where we learn the movements of surfing. Lessons are tailored to the needs of each student. Whether you are a beginner or an experienced surfer in search of the ultimate wave, there is something for everyone!
Yoga
Join us on our tatami mat for a guided practice designed to help you stretch, breathe and find balance. Ideal for surfers and anyone who enjoys staying active, it's a relaxing and energising experience not to be missed!
Skate
Want to take your surfing to the next level? Our surf skate lessons with Alex are perfect for you. On the track, you'll simulate surfing movements, improve your balance and master the techniques that will make all the difference in the water. All equipment is included and open to all levels.
