At Kite Camp Parajuru, on the beautiful north-east coast of Brazil, you will discover a dream kite spot, ideal for beginners as well as experienced freestyle kitesurfers and wave lovers. From our resort, you can see our long sandy beach, caressed by the Brazilian sun: a fabulous spot for all kitesurfers.
The centre is located directly on the kite beach, separated only by a chain of dunes about 200 metres wide. Our kite station meets all expectations and has everything you need for a relaxed and safe kiteboarding holiday.
The warm atmosphere of the kite camp invites you to linger. A small sun terrace, hammocks and shaded seating areas offer a place to retreat and relax between kite sessions.
The charming rooms of the "Pousada Maré Alta" are located directly at the station and are nestled in a tropical garden oasis. Hotel guests can recharge their batteries by the pool with its adjoining relaxation and stretching lounge. A covered lounge with billiards, table tennis and lounge furniture is available. Each room has a small covered terrace with a seating area and hammock, air conditioning and an open-air bathroom.
Bar & Restaurant: We offer a restaurant and bar where you can recharge your batteries while enjoying delicious local specialities.
Swimming pool: A beautiful swimming pool with sun loungers, next to the covered relaxation and stretching area. A perfect place for the whole family to relax. Additional outdoor seating area with seating, billiards and table tennis. Everyone will find their favourite spot here.
Bathroom: All rooms have their own en-suite bathroom with a small outdoor garden. All bathrooms are spacious and equipped with a toilet, washbasin, soap, towels and hot water shower. A comfortable whirlpool bath awaits you in the Dakhla, Sicile and Sal apartments.

Bar and Restaurant
Restaurant: In our authentic Brazilian restaurant Maré Alta, you can recharge your batteries after an exhausting kite session by enjoying delicious local specialities: macaxeira, arrumadinho, bolinhas de peixe and more. We cook excellent dishes based on fresh fish, prawns, langoustines, lobsters and various meats.
Breakfast: The continental breakfast buffet features seasonal and local fruits, bread rolls, cakes, butter, jam, sausages and cheese.
Espresso/latte macchiato, cocoa, tea, fresh fruit juices and shakes, muesli with acai berries, omelettes, pancakes and traditional regional dishes can be ordered at the table every day.

Parajuru, Brazil
Kite Camp Parajuru is located in the charming village of Parajuru, on the east coast of Ceará, about two hours' drive from Fortaleza, Brazil. This little corner of paradise, still untouched by mass tourism, charms visitors with its authenticity and peaceful atmosphere.
Our kitesurfing & wingfoil centre is located right in front of the lagoon and about 300 metres from the sea, offering you a dream spot covering several square kilometres with enough space to enjoy the side wind. The wind, current and river shape the lagoon a little differently each year.
Access
Fortaleza Airport
- The nearest airport is Fortaleza. It is served by several airlines departing from major European cities. The flight takes between 9 and 10 hours. The journey from Fortaleza to Parajuru takes approximately 90 minutes.
- We will be happy to arrange your transfer from the airport to Parajaru – Dakhla (direct flight every Tuesday).

The north-east coast of Brazil, with its endless, beautiful beaches, offers excellent conditions for downwinders. We offer experienced riders downwinders of various lengths and in different locations. Our van accompanies you at all times on the beach: as soon as you feel exhausted, we will pick you up in no time.

Activities
Our parasols, coconut trees, deckchairs, beanbags and hammocks invite you to relax, read and listen to music. Free Wi-Fi is available throughout the resort and in the restaurant. Once you've had enough rest, we recommend:
- A stroll along the long sandy beach
- Learn how to stand up paddle board in our lagoon
- A buggy ride through the immense dunes
- A boat trip on the "Rio Jaguaribe" will allow you to discover the exceptional beauty of Brazil, including fresh oysters.
- Canoa Quebrada: during the day, you can enjoy the famous Canoa beach and take a leisurely stroll through the many small shops. In the evening, Canoa's lively streets and nightlife, with its countless clubs and bars, attract tourists who love to party. After midnight, everyone heads to the beach to dance until dawn at the Freedom Bar to the sound of reggae music.

Buggy excursions
Explore the region by buggy on an exciting tour, e.g.
- In Pontal do Maceio in Fortim: swim in the Rio Jaguaribe river, swim in the natural caves of Pontal and speed across the sand dunes.
- In Uruau Beberibe: an action-packed walk across the sand dunes accompanied by a local from Uruau.
- In Canoa Quebrada: We drive to the famous Canoa Quebrada beach, cross the river by ferry, continue over the sand dunes to the beach, then take a tour of Canoa, swim, and eat delicious fish, crayfish or prawns afterwards.
- Morro Branco: An action-packed tour of the sand dunes, walk through the cliffs, shopping on the beach, food and drinks. With its impressive sandstone labyrinth, the beach is one of the most remarkable in Ceará. Continue with a visit to the arts and crafts market. The day will end on the beautiful sandy beach or at the nearby ‘Oca dor Índios’ spa.
