The first thing you need to understand is that the Mentawai Islands are south-southwest facing. You will embark on the surf trip of your dreams. 11 days surrounded by friends with good food, cold beer and a boat ready to take you to the best waves in the world.
For the vast majority of your surf trip, you will be surfing incredibly perfect 3- to 5-foot waves.

Bar and Restaurant

Access

Minangkabau International Airport Padang

Once you arrive in Padang, you won't have to worry about a thing. Our staff will welcome you and take you to the boat in an air-conditioned van. The same applies to the return journey from the boat to the airport.
The journey between the airport and the boat takes approximately 1.5 hours. The boat departs from Muara Harbour, usually between 6 p.m. and 9 p.m. The crossing from the harbour to Mentawai takes approximately 12 hours.
There are currently direct flights from Doha and Dubai to Bali, without the need to stop over in Jakarta.
