The Sumatra island chain (Mentawai, Telos, Nias and further north) is one of the most consistent places on earth, with waves all year round. In 12 months to a year, you can make the trip of a lifetime any week. There are many options when the swell is off, with most exposed areas and wave magnets, through to a selection of wave types with different breaks, from beginner to professional, hollow or gentle waves. The Sumatra island chain, here in the Indian Ocean, is surfed all year round.
During our stay in the islands, the boat will be anchored on the surf spot early in the morning before sunrise until sunset, so all boat movements will be mandatory during the night. Depending on the winds, we may change spot during the day, decided by the surf guide, passengers and captain.
Bar and Restaurant
Food is a key element of King Millennium Culture. We value taste, health and authenticity. Our chefs prepare delicious meals, both European and Asian, so that our guests can also enjoy delicious Indonesian dishes. Meals are based on fresh local produce such as fish, fruit, vegetables from small farmers, pasta and meat. 3 meals a day plus a variety of snacks between meals so that all our guests can enjoy a healthy diet.
We guarantee a complete diet to meet the requirements of all our customers. Our guests are entitled to as much fresh fruit juice, soft drinks and bottled water as they wish within reasonable limits. The package includes 2 beers daily; all additional beers are paid for at local prices. Our crew has many years of experience in surf charters.

Access
Padang Minangkabau airport
- Our staff in Padang will pick up our passengers from Padang Minangkabau International Airport and drive to Bumuninang Hotel (1 hour drive) where we will meet our guests and relax before the boat departs around 8pm (best arrival time at Padang International Airport is before 4pm).
- Air links to Padang International Airport in Minangkabau. There are many domestic flights to Padang from Jakarta and Medan operated daily by Indonesian airlines such as Garuda Indonesia, Citilink airlines, Lion air, Sriwijaya, Air Asia and Batik airlines.
- International flights from Kuala Lumpur (Malaysia) to Padang International Airport in Minangkabau 3 times a day operated by Air Asia.
