Kitesurf Camp Dakhla, Le Lagon - The rooms

The Kite Camp cooperates with Three Corner Hotels to provide accommodation for kitesurfers. You can choose between the ocean view in the marina or the Rihanna Resort in the city centre. From both hotels we offer a free shuttle service to the Kite Camp.

The resort caters for singles, couples, families and friends. Guests can choose from 434 beautifully furnished rooms designed to offer the most complete holiday experience: just relax!

Comfort room

Discover the fresh, comfortable design of our Comfort rooms. Your room is equipped with a king-size bed or two separate beds. Each room has a private terrace or balcony overlooking the enchanting gardens or inviting pools. The well-equipped bathroom includes a hairdryer and a magnifying mirror. On request, a cot can be provided free of charge for babies aged 0 to 1.99 years. Please inform the hotel before arrival.

Premium room

Large room

The Grand Room is the largest room, offeringspace for a very comfortable stay, even for three people. It has a large double bed and a separate single bed. Premium Accessible Room

For guests with accessibility needs, the Premium Accessible room provides thenecessary equipment for a complete holiday. Our rooms are equipped with special bathroom accessories that provide thenecessary space for wheelchair access as well as appropriate safety features. Kite Surf

The Kite Camp offers kitesurfing lessons for beginners, intermediate and advanced students. You'll learn with the latest equipment from Fanatic and Duotone, and the kite school provides everything you need, including wetsuits, life jackets, helmets and shoes. Makani offers kite courses in German, English, French and Arabic.

Beginner courses

Kitesurfing is a relatively easy water sport to learn. Whatever your age, you just need to be fit and know how to swim.
To learn to kitesurf, you need to learn to control the kite, to use its power. It's more a question of technique than strength.
You'll learn it step by step, starting with the theory, setting up the kite and the basics of flying. Once you're able to control the kite, we'll teach you how to get on the board and make the first few metres.

Private lessons

For those who prefer not to take a group lesson, we also offer private lessons/coaching. The instructor will focus solely on you, so you get all the attention you need. Recommended for all levels, from beginners to advanced kiters, and for children under 16.

Kite School

Beginners and Intermediates (waterstart)
This course is recommended for newcomers and people who have already taken a course but are still not independent and safe enough to go out on their own. It is also recommended for people who need help from the first metre of the board.
Groups will be made up of people with a similar level or experience.

What you'll learn: You'll learn the basics of kitesurfing from theory to your first steps on the water.
Objective: At the end of the kite course, you will be able to control the kite safely and cover the first few metres.
Duration: 3-hour sessions
Groups: 2 to 4 students

Kite hire

You can hire all your equipment at the kite camp. There will be everything from wetsuits and harnesses to kites, boards and wingfoil equipment on site for you.
You'll hire your equipment for the whole day and be able to change kite and board size depending on the wind that day.In the kite school, you'll always find someone to give you advice and recommendations on the equipment that 's best for you.
The same goes for all the wingfoiling equipment.

Wing Foil

The kite camp also offers wingfoil courses for beginners, intermediate and advanced students. You'll learn with the latest equipment from Fanatic and Duotone, and the centre will provide you with everything you need, such as a wetsuit, protective waistcoat, helmet and shoes. Various instructors will be able to offer you kite lessons in German, English, French and Arabic. Wing Foil School

Who is it for: If you have never taken a wingfoil course before and would like to learn it.
What you will learn: You will discover the basics of wingfoil from theory to your first steps on the water.

Fitness playground

We love fitness, playing, enjoying the beach and splurging to build strength and stamina with sports training for kiters and fitness junkies.

Playground Yoga (PLAY): a new class focusing on mobility, strength and diaphragm activation techniques using basic yoga moves and functional training. Choreography on the hot yoga dance floor!

Spintonic (SPIN): combines spinning and interval toning exercises for the ultimate workout to increase endurance and strength. A favourite with cyclists and weightlifters.

Play of the Day (POD): keep your body and mind moving through play. We use intensive interval training techniques focusing on speed, agility, strength, balance, flexibility and mobility.

Hot iron: pure weightlifting focusing on basic and advanced weightlifting techniques with exercises such as the clean and snatch. We offer many variations and all exercises are based on the principle of overload: we need to apply resistance through positive overload so that the body thrives.

Learn by Doing: bimonthly classes on various health and fitness topics, such as "how to do a handstand", "how to build muscle", "what are the best exercises for burning fat", etc. These courses are taught by several master trainers and top-level coaches from El Gouna and the rest of the world.
