The camp consists of two connected buildings. Our double rooms are located in the main building as well as 4 dormitories - all with shared bathrooms. In the second building, our private flats are located with other dormitories and double rooms. We also have a large terrace perfect for a lazy afternoon of relaxation or yoga sessions in the sun.

We have a total of three flats located in the camp area. You can book each flat for exclusive use. But, if you book a single room in a flat, you will share the common areas such as the living room/kitchen, terrace and bathroom with the other rooms in the same flat.

Apartment A (Double)

Our flat has a double room and is located in one of our surf flats on the campsite grounds. The room itself is a private room with a double bed and a view of the sea directly from the bed. It is a small but comfortable room. In the apartment you will find a fully equipped kitchen, a living room, a terrace with sea view and barbecue and a fully renovated bathroom. These common areas are shared with another room in the same flat, unless it is reserved for exclusive use. On our roof terrace in the camp area you can practice yoga and enjoy the beautiful sunsets.

Apartment A (Twin)

The Apartment-A Twin room is a beautiful room with plenty of natural light. It has two single beds and a small private balcony. There is also a sitting area with seating and a kitchen, as well as a bathroom with a walk-in shower and a terrace. All three rooms have access to these common areas together. The rooms can be booked individually and therefore the flat is shared, or the flat can also be booked for exclusive use. Guests also have access to all other areas of the camp and have dinner and breakfast served in the main camp area.

Apartment B (Double/Twin)

Our apartment B has been recently renovated and has a total of three double/twin rooms. All three rooms have the option of two single beds or a king size bed. Each room also has plenty of storage space for your clothes and luggage. The flat has a beautiful terrace overlooking the valley behind the camp. There is also a lounge/kitchen area with a sitting area and kitchenette, and a bathroom with a walk-in shower. All three rooms have access to these common areas together. The rooms can be booked individually and therefore the flat is shared, or the flat can also be booked for exclusive use.

Apartment D (Double)

This private double room has a comfortable double bed, storage space for your belongings and a small private balcony. It is located in our apartament D with our D-Twin room. Guests can book the whole flat for exclusive use or book a single room and share the flat's common areas. The common areas mentioned are a fully equipped kitchen, a newly renovated bathroom, a living room and a large outdoor terrace with sea view.

Apartment-D Twin

This apartement is located in our second building, still on the campsite grounds but still offering more privacy than our main camp building. The room itself is located on the top floor of the flat, on the gallery above the living room. It is equipped with two single beds, which can also be combined into a double bed. There is a skylight which gives the room plenty of natural light. The flat can be booked with Apartment-D Double for exclusive use. It has a living room, a fully equipped kitchen, a fully renovated bathroom and a beautiful large terrace overlooking the ocean.

Double/twin rooms

Our Ericeira double rooms are the perfect place to relax after a day of surfing in the surfing mecca of Ericeira . These rooms are located in a traditional Portuguese two-storey house. They are equipped with either a double bed or 2 single beds, and feature modern decor and plenty of natural light. Located right next to Foz do Lizandro, it is a short walk from one of the best surfing spots. Some of these rooms have their own private balcony overlooking the beautiful green landscape.

Shared twin

Our shared twin room is a 2 bed dormitory located in the main building of our camp. This room is perfect for solo travellers or a group of 2 friends travelling together and wanting a little more privacy than in a regular dorm. It comes with a bunk bed and a spacious drawer for your clothes. You can take advantage of all the camp facilities, such as our SUP boards and kayaks, TV room, table tennis and bikes. We also have a wide selection of books to read and WiFi is available throughout the camp. Enjoy our delicious meals in our communal dining room and spend time playing cards and having a drink after dinner.

Dormitory with sea view

This room category is perfect for our solo travellers or groups of friends. We have four rooms in this category, two on the ground floor and two on the first floor. Each room has a beautiful view of Lizandro beach and the waves. Our sea view dormitories are 4-bed rooms with shared bathrooms. Some rooms also have a small balcony. You can enjoy the sunsets from your own room or from our spacious roof terrace.

Standard Dormitory

Our standard 8 bed dormitory is the place to come back to after a day of surfing in the surfing Mecca of Ericeira . This room in our Ericeira camp is located on the top floor of one of our two camp buildings. It is equipped with a total of three bunk beds and two single beds. This dormitory is a very spacious and open room with lots of natural light. It has a small adjoining balcony from where you can admire the camp area, the Lizandro River and the Lizandro beach. On our camping terrace you can practice yoga and enjoy the beautiful Portuguese sunsets. If you feel like a movie night, you can also enjoy our TV room with a projector, which you can connect to your devices and watch your favourite surf movies.

Looking for the ultimate surf school in Portugal? Ericeira is one of the best places in the world to learn the art of surfing. Here you will have access to a wide variety of waves that are consistent all year round. Enjoy sunny and warm summers, fresh seafood and delicious specialities, incredible nature and an enticing local atmosphere. All our staff are helpful, knowledgeable and eager to share their passion for surfing with people from all over the world.

Ericeira is a surfing Mecca: the amazing breaks and pristine condition of the local beaches and water prompted the environmental organisation Save the Waves Coalition, in cooperation with the International Surfing Association (ISA) and the National Surfing Reserves of Australia, to select Ericeira as a World Surfing Reserve - the first and only in Europe.

The majority of Portuguese professional surfers come from Ericeira because of the high quality of its waves. One of the longest breaks, Ribeira d'llhas, hosts two WSL competitions per year.

Our Adventures

Located in downtown Ericeira, just one block from the ocean, is Boardriders Ericeira, a Quiksilver branded shop with a bar, terrace and a large concrete skatepark open to all ages and levels. This place is a great place for those who want to try their luck surfing on concrete instead of waves and from here you can check out what the waves are doing across the road in Matadouro and even watch the sunset. And although it can get very crowded when the swell disappears, it can be great fun to watch the locals shredding the bowl and rails.
As the sun sets and the stars begin to shine, locals and tourists alike can easily find a place to swap surfing stories over some refreshing libations. As the night progresses, the streets will fill with people from all walks of life. Young and old alike can join in the fun and enjoy live music and film performances.
