Hossegor Surf School
Ride on the beautiful beaches of Hossegor with the best teacher! The quality of the waves is recognized worldwide but the choice of the spot you'll ride won't be insignificant, it will be chosen for you according to your level and surfing conditions.
We can surf between La Sud and Les Culs Nus by going through the Central beach, la Gravière or the North. You will have to walk a little bit to get the best experience but it is worthy.
Surfing lessons for Beginner and intermediate
From beginner to intermediate and advanced level, we will find the right wave to progress without age limit. Your surf instructor will be able to accompany you throughout your training.
Surfing sessions:
- a group of six to eight people per instructor for a high quality of coaching
- equipment is provided
- foam boards for beginners
- resin boards for intermediates and confirmed
- wetsuits and accessories
- briefings on the beach to start
- essential safety measures directly related to the conditions of the day
- practical and personalized advices on the beach and in the water

Please book in advance because in summer time and during school holidays, slots are taken on 7 days and there is no place for last minute bookings.What to bring for my surf lesson?
We provide the board, wetsuit, teacher. Simply bring a swimsuit to put under the surfsuit, a towel, some clothes to change after, sunblock and a bottle of water.At what time does the lesson start?
Just to give you a hint we organize the courses about 2 hours before and after low tide
on normal coefficients of 50/70. This may be more with lower coefficients but in any case,we organize the groups ourselves according to ages and levels
in order to give you the greatest satisfaction possible. We will therefore call you back 48h before the D-day to give you your lesson time according to the tides but also the "reliable wave and weather forecasts".Where to find us?
